100’s and 100’s Stronger

Congratulations to all our “100 Workout” stars over the last few months.  Check out their comments underneath. Here’s what they all said about the benefits they’ve noticed from working out on our Strength and Cardio Workout!

this is my first ever gym and I would recommend going to Curves.  They all motivate you and they give encouragements and you can have fun while you go round, even on a theme day.  I can’t fault it at all.  It means a lot to me. I even go with a friend and we encourage each other.  I wouldn’t go to any other gym – this is the BEST!
Neena –
Good for women of a certain age!; women- simple circuit that is timed.

Improvement with Arthritis

BEFORE

Lorraine has arthritis  COPD, back pain and when she first started she had to use her inhaler twice during the 30-minute workout.

After working out at Curves for 3 months, Lorraine has already noticed a significant improvement in her health.

Now, she does’t need to use it at all! Before joining Curves Lorraine couldn’t do a lot and measured her pain as 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 most severe). Lorraine couldn’t walk far, couldn’t change her bed in one go and couldn’t run around with the grandkids.

Now, Lorraine says, “I can change the bed in 1 go; I can walk faster and longer and my pain has reduced to a 7 out of 10!”

Lorraine was also No. 2 Top Star in July, losing 2 lbs and 9.5 inches, and in the Top 20 in August!

Full Body Workout!

“Full body workout in only 30 minutes – who wouldn’t love that!!”

Helen works out every day and has celebrated her 600 workouts before her 500 Workouts celebration has been posted (there’s a long queue of success stories!), so we thought we’d post them together.  You can see the photographic proof that Helen looks younger now!

Before I joined Curves, I was overweight, I had no stamina, long distance walking was very painful and I would get out of breath climbing the stairs.  I also suffered from SAD and was depressed.

After working out every day at Curves and being coached on Curves Complete Diet Plan, my weight is down (5 and half st,) and my fitness level is high!  Working out 5 days a week is awesome! It’s the best start to the day and it creates positive motivation – I enjoy continued fitness, more stamina, better sleep pattern, maintained weight loss and inch loss (80 ins total lost).
Curves has a friendly family feel with coaches always on hand to give advice.  The challenges provide an ‘added extra’ 🙂  My knees are less painful and I’m now able to do so much more – I feel able to tackle anything! (Literally . .  Helen abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower for charity!)  I don’t visit the Doctor much these days!

A full body workout in only 30 minutes – who wouldn’t love that!!

Ros says, “the workout is very ‘do-able’ and there are women of all sizes and ages. It’s a friendly atmosphere and very motivational staff. It’s an excellent food plan with 1-1 coaching on that too.”

Denise has achieved 200 Workouts now! “When I leave Curves after a workout I have more energy and I have lost weight”, says Denise.  “The workout lasts only 30 minutes and you get lots of encouragement from the staff.  Everyone is very friendly.”
